The K8091 is an attractive LED clock with output connection for a light. From 15 minutes before the set time, the light intensity of the connected appliance will increase up to full power, at set time alarm beeps will be heard. The beep length is gradually built up so you will not be startled by a sudden alarm signal.

Innovating switch, senses the close proximity of hand or other object and activates relay output. Suitable with Velleman home automation systems or for use in applications were physical contact is not permitted.

The K8094 allows you to record and play messages of up to 8 minutes long.
Recording speed is continuously adjustable so that you can choose a perfect compromise between duration and sound quality. It also allows you to generate funny sound effects. Messages are retained in memory at power loss. The unit comes complete with microphone, line level in- and output and an output for a small speaker. Applications: Play messages in musea, stores, interactive installations, scale models, toys, as doorbell, gadget, etc…

The Velleman K8099 Limited Edition Nixie Clock kit is back!. Nixie tubes are the ‘LED indicators’ of the past. In the 50’s, 60’s and early 70’s there were no LED’s or LCD’s. Neon gas filled tubes were used to display numerical data. They were part of scientific equipment, counters, voltmeters, control panels etc... Nixies feature a characteristic warm orange glow. They are no longer in production, which explains their price.

This is a real time video digitiser card intended to use with IBM compatible personal computers (PC) with VGA or higher video-monitor. The card can be plugged into any expansion slot within the computer. The digitiser converts video signals supplied by a TV set, a camcorder, a video recorder, or a video camera into digital data that can be processed by the PC. The video signals (PAL compatible) are converted into 512 x 512 pixels and 256 grey levels ; still RGB signals (colour) are converted into 16.7 million colours. The digital image is converted into a TIFF (Tagged Image File Format) or BMP (Bitmap) file that can be processed further by almost any graphics program that runs under MS-DOS or Windows. High quality pictures are achieved by using rather high (10MHz) sampling rate and using a built-in phase locked loop.
